Mark E. Rich - Managing Director  

Mr. Rich is the Managing Director and a co-founder of Whitehouse Pimms.  Mr. Rich has performed executive search since 1994.  His experience includes serving large clients such as A.T. Kearney, Coopers & Lybrand, Deloitte, Diamond, EDS, Ernst & Young, IBM, KPMG, McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, Oracle, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and numerous mid-size and boutique firms. He has also served a number of Fortune 500 and mid-cap companies, typically recruiting VPs and Directors in strategy, business development, corporate development, and operations roles.  Mr. Rich focuses on senior-level searches, typically for roles with compensation in excess of $200,000

Mr. Rich began his career as an engineer with Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation.  After completing his MBA, Mr. Rich spent several years as a management consultant with Ernst & Whinney and Paragon Consulting; a boutique management consulting firm formed by a number of senior executives from Booz Allen & Hamilton.  From Paragon, Mr. Rich joined Datalogix, a manufacturing application software firm, where he reported to the President & CEO as the Vice President of Professional Services.  In two years he led an increase in the services organization's revenues by 100% from $3.5 million to $7 million and contribution dollars from $100,000 to $2.4 million as the company moved to its successful IPO and eventual acquisition by Oracle.

Mr. Rich received an MBA from Southern Methodist University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Memphis, and completed the Leadership in Professional Services Firms executive program at the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Rich lives in Dallas with his wife, daughter, and assorted pets.  He's active as a board member and volunteer in local charities.  He's an avid skier, traveler, basketball and poker player, guitarist, and reader of novels, history, science, and travel books.
